Indigenous Communities of Nepal are the people who share common language and similar cultural background. There are 126 recognized indigenous castes in Nepal out of them we are focusing on the most vulnerable and marginalized tribes from very rural parts of Nepal who don’t have access to education, food, shelter and other opportunities. We have selected five most deprived Indigenous Tribes; Chepang, Raute, Thami, Kusunda, Satar/Mushahar and Jirel in our IndiSTEM project.
