1000 Girls: 1000 Futures

The primary aim of this project is to connect girls with mentors so that they can expand their horizon and broaden their vision of opportunity and future for themselves. This is the project partnered with The New York Academy of Sciences; where we connect 1000 girls to the 1000 women mentors from various parts of the world who can spend at few hours in a month and can impact in the life of a girl engaging her in various activities and providing opportunity.
Some 5 girls will be getting opportunity to be a part of the New York Academy of Sciences out of 1000 girls. The New York Academy of Sciences provide more opportunities for the girls beyond mentorships.

Robo Girls

Preparing a girl human capital in robotics, automation, AI and all the future robotics-based technologies
We are planning to enroll 100 Girls every year from the rural parts of Nepal in coordination with the local government and rural school
Girls and Women trainers, mostly from Nepal will be assigned to train and empower the girls so that the trainee girls can get inspired from the trainers itself
Training will be provided in 3 phases; Basic- 20 hrs., Intermediate- 20 hrs and Advanced- 20 hrs
Robotics Kit are designed and developed by the STEM team
Trainers and administrative staffs will be from STEM office and training will be conducted in STEM Lab of STEM Foundation Nepal

Karnali Girls

We prepare a group of 50 girls from Karnali in coordination with schools, local municipalities, districts and provincial government; and we organize two residential STEM workshops in the province headquarter, Surkhet and 10 virtual training sessions. It’s an annual program for empowering the girls from Karnali.
Karnali is the most remote geography of Nepal and the women and girls are facing numbers of problem due to lack of education. This is the project to empower the girls from Karnali Province in STEM, Education and Entrepreneurship.
There is good internet and connectivity in the province headquarter where we can run physical event in presence of the global experts; and for the continuation of the virtual sessions, we will provide one tablet per participant including the internet SIM card from Nepal Telecom.
